Medicinal properties of edible mushrooms

Mushrooms have medicinal value, some species of which are used to treat diseases. Years ago, people paid more attention to the medicinal value of mushrooms than their nutritional value. The medicinal value of mushrooms is summarized as follows:
Hematopoietic value
Lectins are plant proteins that exist in all kinds of mushrooms. This type of protein has different uses. The lectin obtained from the mushroom Agaricus Cassisrichus is a tetramer with a molecular mass of 64,000. The lectin obtained from Flamolinaulopteb mushroom has a molecular weight of 2000. Volvatoxin A is a lectin obtained from the fungus Volvariolavaceae. Studies have shown that this mushroom reduces blood activity towards the Q group of red cells. Bloroolecin is a lectin obtained from the mushroom Blorotus, which is a hematopoietic factor for vitro cells in mammals.
Antiviral value
Reports indicate the presence of antiviral substances in edible mushrooms. By examining Tinus Edud mushroom and its spores, its antiviral effects against the influenza virus in mice have been determined. The tannic part of the mushroom extract is able to perform antiviral activities. Investigations have shown that particles similar to the destroyed virus have been seen in the sheet of mushrooms.
